Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026. This policy describes how Lys Hosting (Alyson Labs Inc.) processes your personal information, in accordance with Quebec Law 25.
Aligned with Law 25 (Quebec)
1. Data collection
We collect only the data needed to provide our services: name, email address, billing address and payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card numbers.
2. Use of data
Your data is used for:
- managing your account and services;
- billing and technical support;
- sending security alerts or service notifications.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. Data location
Client website data is hosted in Canada, on our Montreal infrastructure. Backup copies are encrypted before transfer and the storage provider does not hold our decryption keys. They are stored off-site with a storage provider located in the United States. Some auxiliary services (public DNS servers, monitoring tools) use international points of presence; they do not contain personal information about your customers.
4. Security
We apply strict security measures: encryption of communications (TLS), encryption of backups, firewalls, automatic blocking of intrusion attempts, and administrative access restricted by keys and multi-factor authentication.
5. Your rights (Law 25)
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal information. For any request, contact our personal information protection officer:
Officer: David Martin Email: vie-privee@lyshosting.ca
6. Cookies and audience measurement
Our site uses audience measurement configured to respect privacy (no advertising profiling by default). If third-party advertising tools (for example the Meta pixel) are enabled on certain pages, they are disclosed and can be refused.
7. Retention and destruction
We retain your data only as long as needed to provide services or meet our legal obligations. After that period, they are destroyed securely.
